چکیده
The secretome proteins of Paenibacillus polymyxa Kp10 and Lactococcus lactis Gh1 were previously found to have the potential for controlling antibiotic-resistant pathogen. Therefore, their safety evaluation ensure consumer health is deemed important. This study was evaluate toxicity effect both in human cells against Medical Research Council cell strain 5 (MRC5). Then, antibacterial activities tested serum assess stability proteins. results showed no cytotoxic effects either protein when MRC5 treated up determined concentrations. IC50 determined. In addition, did not affect activity Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE). conclusion, are potentially safe future development as a therapeutic agent.

Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis as Potential Functional Starter Culture.
The aim of this study is to identify and characterise potential autochthonous functional starter cultures in homemade horsemeat sausage. The dominant microflora in the samples of horsemeat sausage were lactic acid bacteria (LAB), followed by micrococci. Among the LAB, Lactococcus lactis ssp. lactis and Lactobacillus plantarum were the dominant species, and since the first is not common in ferme...

Lactic acid bacteria capable of producing bacteriocins and presenting probiotic potential open innovative technological applications in the dairy industry. In this study, a bacteriocinogenic strain (Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis DF4Mi) was isolated from goat milk, and studied for its probiotic potential. Lc. lactis DF4Mi was resistant to acidic pH and oxbile, presented co-aggregation with Li...
متن کاملLactococcus lactis as a live delivery vector
Mucosal surfaces of the body provide a universal entry portal for all known and emerging infectious pathogenic microbes. Therefore, it seems that special vaccination strategies are needed for vaccines that can hinder the entry capability of pathogenic microbes through the mucosal surfaces. Lactic acid bacteria are widely used in the food industry and are presently applied as delivery vehicles i...
متن کاملLactococcus lactis as host for overproduction of functional membrane proteins.
Lactococcus lactis has many properties that are ideal for enhanced expression of membrane proteins. The organism is easy and inexpensive to culture, has a single membrane and relatively mild proteolytic activity. Methods for genetic manipulation are fully established and a tightly controlled promoter system is available, with which the level of expression can be varied with the inducer concentr...
